Never Ending Sunday
Monday, July 13th, 2009What started out as a brief outing to see Jipsy turned into a lovely Sunday in and around Miami Beach.
I never actually met up with the Nefarious Girl (get better!!), but after the drive and extensive search for parking, I decided to stay for a while. The locale was Poplife’s Just Add Water pool party at the Fontainebleau.
I met this lifesaver, Alexis.
I’m not too keen on snapping pictures in the faces of people I don’t know, but she knew everybody, and thus released her inner-photographer and got her paparazzi on.
Apparently she loves Big Pop.
Then I ate at a great Peruvian spot with amazing Grace. We discussed careers and body parts.
We then headed over to The Standard for Sunday night bingo, but wound up sitting on the pier and poolside to further contemplate the finer points of the dating game. We parted ways, and I headed over to Purdy Lounge, my 2nd time going…ever. Manuvers was on the tables warming up 90s R&B night.
I was steady in the zone, but this blow-pop wielding hooligan kept challenging me on the dancefloor. I wiped that smile off her face with the quickness.
