New Video-Lost Ones

Thursday, October 27th, 2011

First I must urge you to get  Cole World: The Sideline Story. I can’t get enough of it! It’s one of those albums you put on and let it play from beginning to end. I’m not a HUGE rap fan, but this kind of rap I like. Not too hardcore not too bubblegum. I can totally follow the lyrics and I love the choruses. With that being said, Lost Ones is one of my favs. It tells an all too familiar story from 3 point of views. Check it out and let me know what you think. The woman’s part goes in hard and is my favorite!

New Music-Can’t Get Enough

Monday, September 19th, 2011

The Roc is in the building. I love the vibe of Can’t Get Enough. Number 2 song of J. Cole’s album ‘Cole World: A Sideline Story’ that I like. One more song and I’ll have to buy it when it comes out. Trey Songz sounds really good as well. Like he went through puberty or something. The video was shot in Barbados, so you know native Rihanna had to make an appearance. What do you guys think about the song and the video?

New Music-Work Out

Thursday, August 18th, 2011

This is definitely the kind of rap that I like. I know it may sound corny, but I need a chorus that I can sing along with. I love that Work Out samples lines from Paula Abdul’s  Straight Up. I used to LOVE that song. The beat and the entire production just has that nice bob your head type of vibe.  J. Cole has a habit of getting me all fired up (You don’t want to be around me when Blow Up is playing). I mean he makes me want to put on my DB swag and spit a few bars! LMFAO! I don’t think anyone would want to hear my flow, but in my head it’s AMAZING! What do you all think?

Hump Day Humor

Wednesday, July 13th, 2011

I knew there was a reason why I like J Cole so much! I feel the same exact way when I see that red “HOT” sign on for Krispy Kreme donuts (minus the strawberry milk)! He does an awesome job describing them. Warm, melt in your mouth deliciousness! I feel like getting a few just thinking about them.
