Vaca Frita
It’s been a while since I made a post about food. Kind of ironic since I am such a foodie!! This weekend I had the pleasure of having dinner with my honey at Havana Harry’s. We live in Miami, so Spanish restaurants are practically on every corner, but each have their specialties. While the entire menu is great there, my favorite dish is Vaca Frita by far. Literally translated as “Fried Cow,” the only thing that comes to my mind is YUMMY!
This delicious concoction of crispy beef and caramelized onions sprinkled with lime just melts in your mouth. So savory and full of flavor, your taste buds will thank you over and over again. Served with rice and black beans, it’s nearly impossible to finish, but fun to try. You can get this dish in chicken or pork as well, but the beef is my favorite. If you haven’t tried Vaca Frita before, make sure to order it next time. You won’t be disappointed.
