Flashback Friday

Friday, September 30th, 2011

In memory of Arch West, the creator of Doritos that past last week, I bring to you Classic Doritos. It amazes me how many different kinds there are now. I’m not a huge chip eater anymore, but I remember the days where there were only Nacho Cheese and Cool Ranch (oh what a big deal that blue bag was when it came out!) The bag had the see through window that taunted  you to eat the chips. Do you remember eating the entire bag and savoring sucking the cheese off your fingers? Sounds pretty gross right now, but that used to be the highlight of eating Doritos. What’s your favorite Doritos flavor?

New Music-Mr Know It All

Thursday, September 29th, 2011

My favorite America Idol is back and I have to admit this song is very catchy! Kelly Clarkson brings it back with Mr Know It All. She sounds a bit different from Since U Been Gone, but I still like it. I hope her new album brings some great hits like the last one. What do you guys think?

NewMovie-Laugh At My Pain

Monday, September 26th, 2011

While debuting DB’s Fall/Holiday line in Atlanta (you guys are going to LOVE it),  I took a much needed break and checked out Kevin Hart’s Laugh At My Pain movie/standup. He really opens up about his personal life. In this movie he talks about everything from his father being on drugs, to his mother’s funeral, to his recent divorce (hence the title of the movie). One thing is for certain, you’re guaranteed to laugh and be entertained. What I liked about the movie was the fact that Kevin was able to keep it real while making you laugh at the same time. It wasn’t gimmicky at all. So if you  like to laugh and have a good time, I recommend that you check out Laugh At My Pain. You won’t be disappointed at all. By the way… I’m not responsible if you find your self saying, “alright, alright, alright” for the next few days either…..

Asian Firecracker Salad

Thursday, September 22nd, 2011

I’m a sucker for new things and when I was driving by a Wendy’s a saw a new salad, I just had to have it. I’m a fan of Wendy’s salads. Always fresh and nice on the pocket. I’ve ordered salads that cost twice as much and not as tasty. The new Asian Firecracker salad is good, but I would like it better if it had tomatoes!  Crunchy red peppers, onions, wontons on the side, grilled chicken and a delightful Teriyaki Vinagrette Dressing. Yummy! They still have the pick 2 for $4.99. So a small version of the salad and a baked potato or chilli and you’re good to go!

New Music-Can’t Get Enough

Monday, September 19th, 2011

The Roc is in the building. I love the vibe of Can’t Get Enough. Number 2 song of J. Cole’s album ‘Cole World: A Sideline Story’ that I like. One more song and I’ll have to buy it when it comes out. Trey Songz sounds really good as well. Like he went through puberty or something. The video was shot in Barbados, so you know native Rihanna had to make an appearance. What do you guys think about the song and the video?
