Flashback Friday

Friday, April 29th, 2011

Ohhhh yeeeaaaah!! Sim Simma (Who Am I) makes me want to start dancing instantly! I was torn between this and Romie (another favorite). Back when the music was great and the dancing was even better. Beenie Man had back to back classics. I remember blasting this song in my little green civic after school! The good times! Happy Friday DB!

Move Your Body With Beyonce

Wednesday, April 27th, 2011

I thought the first video was super cute, but this one blows me away! I absolutely LOVED this. This is truly a workout. I think I started sweating just watching it! Not only is Beyonce able to keep running around during this video, she’s in heels! (cute ones at that) I have a hard enough time running around in sneakers… I’m also glad that they included a chubby kid instead of just showing skinny children. When Beyonce went the wrong way, it reminded me so much of myself! There’s a dance here for everyone! I’m going to have to include this in my Zumba class ASAP!

Wicked

Monday, April 25th, 2011

It’s been a while since I did a review, but this play was very deserving. I loved every second of it! The story talks about OZ long before Dorothy makes an entrance. Very well written and very entertaining. I simply love musicals, and this one didn’t disappoint. I’m actually  looking for the soundtrack. OK, stop calling me a dork! The story was very involved and reminded me to remember that everything isn’t always what it seems. Sometimes ‘bad’ people are simply misunderstood and ‘good’ are really just fake bad people! LOL! If you haven’t had a chance to check Wicked out, you’re missing out! Put it on your list ASAP!

I remember eating these until I got sick. I knew Easter was here when these little chocolate eggs of heaven arrived. My taste buds have changed since then, because I can’t even stomach a bite of these now. Maybe that’s because I know what Godiva tastes like. What’s your favorite Easter candy?

OPI-Pirates Of The Caribbean

Wednesday, April 20th, 2011

I have to admit that I’m not that excited about yet another Pirates of the Caribbean movie, but OPI’s nail polish is a sure winner for me. Now, I don’t really see the correlation to the movie with the colors, but I love them!!! They totally look like Spring. I’ve been into teals lately (the piggys are nice and square looking like Tiffany packages) and I can’t wait to get my hands on the Mermaid Tears the sea foam green color. The collection debuts in May. Who’s going with me to pick some new shades?

New Music-The Lazy Song

Monday, April 18th, 2011

For those of you that love Bruno Mars like myself, this isn’t new music for you, but the video is. I can’t wait to see him in concert in May. I LOVED every song on his album. Who doesn’t feel like being lazy at times?!?! What a great song, let me know what you think about the video.

Can you believe it’s been 10 years since this song came out! I still love it and I think it will be loved for many years to come. Alicia Keys will be releasing a 10th year deluxe edition of Songs in A minor in June with songs that didn’t originally make the cut. Can’t wait to pick that up!
